Constitution and Bylaws

PREAMBLE

Whereas the service of Anson Community Hospital (ACH) presented a need for the provision of pastoral care for those patients admitted to the hospital, and whereas it was agreeable with the Chief Executive Officer (CPO) and Community Trustee Council, the ministry of Anson Community Hospital Chaplain Association was formed to provide the spiritual basis for wholistic care in a non-denominational form to patients, staff of Anson Community Hospital and their family members. In the spirit of ecumenical fellowship and trust, the Hospital Administration, Board of Trustees, and the Parish Nurse and Health Ministry work together with the Volunteer Chaplain Ministry to experience a wholistic approach to health care.

Article I.         Name

The name of this organization shall be the Anson Community Hospital Chaplain Association (ACHCA).
